In this position based at our head office in Mulgrave, Victoria, you will join a high performing Accounting & Finance team and be responsible for meeting the day-to-day needs of the Accounting and Finance function in relation to assisting Finance Innovations and Operations, with monitoring Operational KPIs and processes performed both locally and by the Shared Service Centre (SSC) Function in Cebu (responsible for back office Accounting support), drive performance of the SSC team and identify and implement process improvements.

Key duties & responsibilities:


Ensure System Integrity: Maintain system integrity and manage interfaces across all IT platforms affecting Financial Accounting postings and monthly financial results. Investigate system interface/integration issues and process deficiencies within the Agency Model that impact the broader Finance function.

Operational Transparency: Provide the local team with clear insights into operational challenges by investigating and escalating deviations from acceptable SLAs/Performance with the SSC. Assist in steering the SSC team by sub-function to achieve benchmark performance for Finance.

Process Improvement: Review and document processes for continuous efficiency improvements. Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) or Change Requests for system enhancements. Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Finance initiatives/enhancements and assist project implementation.

Compliance and Audit Support: Ensure timely completion of compliance/audit requirements and maintain internal controls.

  • Knowledge of SAP (preferred)
  • Understand MB policy and work instructions and the new Agency Model (preferred)
  • Business interfacing experience (preferred)
  • Experience with system implantation and interfacing between multiple systems
  • Degree qualified in Accounting/Finance/Commerce
  • Working toward a CA/CPA qualification (preferred)
