Gemini’s facility in Rockhampton is the largest operational repair facility in Northern Queensland. It provides a wide range of repair services under one roof, including a mechanical section, with efficient process management and smart new facilities. The site is brand new and fully equipped, with two spray booths and two Car-O-Liner systems. The team is 20-strong and growing, with a great team culture.
The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Spray Painter to join the team at Gemini Rockhampton
You will be supported by our skilled team and acquire the knowledge of an automotive workshop and begin learning the step-by-step process of prepping, mixing, refinishing of automotive spray painting.
This position is permanent, full time position. Monday to Friday. 38 hours per week.

Role responsibilities
- Colour match vehicle
- Prep vehicle as per Job Sheet requirements following paint supplier’s process
- Prime vehicle as per Job Sheet requirements following paint supplier’s process
- Paint vehicle as per Job Sheet requirements following paint supplier’s process
- Buff and denib vehicle as per Job Sheet
- Upon request carry out minor/small repairs as per Job Sheet.
