This is a recruitment for a Permanent Part-Time/Full-Time appointment/s, job-sharing is considered.
We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist Registrar (Grade 1) and/or a Clinical Psychologist (Grade 2) seeking a permanent contract in our Mental Health team at Rockingham Peel Group.
The successful candidate/s will provide clinical psychology services to patients referred to Rockingham Peel Group. Working within a multidisciplinary and professional team context you will provide clinical, consultant, educational and research psychology service with individuals, couples, families, groups, other professionals and organizational systems.

Community Adult Rockingham Mental Health
- Early Episode Psychosis Services providing evidenced based psychological interventions for clients 18 -35 years old for individual and group interventions including CBT for Psychosis and hearing voices.
- Intensive Day Therapy Unit providing evidenced based psychological therapy for individuals 18 -65 years old for individual assessment, therapy, and also group interventions.
- Rockingham Adult Community Treatment Team (CTT) providing evidenced based psychological therapies for individuals 18-65. Including assessment, individual therapy and the following group programs – Dialectical Behavioural Therapy; Schema Focussed Based Therapy; Anxiety and Mood Disorders.
- Community Care Unit providing evidenced based psychological interventions for adult clients experiencing comorbid mental health and psychological problems. The mental health CCU is a government and non-government partnership comprising of a multi-disciplinary team. The service has five share houses offering intensive, transitional support for clients with complex mental health conditions.
- Peel Community Treatment Team (CTT) providing evidenced based psychological therapy for individuals 18-65. Including assessment, individual therapy and the following group programs – Dialectical Behavioural Therapy Schema Focussed Therapy; Anxiety and Mood Disorders.
- Mimidi PaRK Inpatient Mental Health Unit for Peel and Rockingham Kwinana Catchment
- Mental Health inpatient for adult (18 – 65) and older adults (65+) providing evidenced based psychological assessments, and interventions.
- Consultation Liaison Service providing evidenced based psychological assessments and interventions Including some outpatient clinics for clients referred by Rockingham General Hospital to the Consultation Liaison Service.
PaRK Mental Health is a community mental health service for adults and older adults who are based in Rockingham and Peel. We provide a comprehensive range of services and programs for individuals, families and groups which include:
- mental health assessment, treatment and ongoing care planning
- support and education for families and carers
- support, consultation and education to general practitioners, community agencies and general hospitals
- mental health rehabilitation programs, including Intensive Day Therapy.
- Evidenced based clinical psychological individual and group interventions such as DBT; CBT; CBT for Psychosis, Schema Focused therapy; EMDR.
