ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Sales Associate to join our Infrastructure Solutions team. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone who is looking to grow and gain exposure to Fujitsu, working alongside experienced sales professionals and engaging with Defence and Government customers. This is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, passionate about technology, and ready to start their career in sales.
This role is a permanent full-time position, based in Canberra, ACT.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Lead Generation: High levels of outbound activity via phone and email to prospective businesses aligned with Portfolio and Marketing.
- Conduct Research: Identify leads and reach business targets through telephone, email, webinar, and in-person sales calls.
- Sales Opportunities: Support sales colleagues in qualifying opportunities to establish a pipeline that will meet targets within designated territory/account/partner. Execution of contract negotiations under guidance. Actively participate in the planning and execution of company sales and marketing activities, providing vital input based on interactions with prospects.
- Sales Process: Collaborative engagement with teams to obtain and review supplier pricing, prepare bid information, and complete quote submissions to existing and new clients. Provides pricing information and written quotations to customers or partners. Supports senior sales colleagues in customer visits and presentations as part of the team. Uses specific company tools and processes to manage sales opportunities.
- Vendor Engagement: Engage with vendors to drive new business development opportunities, take part in sales initiatives and workshops to develop identified new sales opportunities.
- Governance: Adheres to company-defined governance procedures and sales management tools, including the client relationship management (CRM) database, to manage campaigns within own borders.
- Product Understanding: Maintains a good level of product, services and solutions, market, and competitive know-how.
- Training: Actively participates in portfolio knowledge upskill, marketing training, sales training, and soft skill training.
