About the role
We are seeking an accomplished General Manager of Hospital Services to lead our hospital directorate and its programs. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the delivery of exceptional healthcare services and achieve optimal patient outcomes. Your strategic leadership will focus on enhancing patient care, reducing length of stay and promoting staff welfare all while maintaining financial stability and regulatory compliance. As General Manager, your responsibilities will include optimising patient length of stay through effective management and care coordination, while fostering a supportive work environment that drives staff wellbeing and high performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Be accountable for delivering on defined performance targets and standards and other relevant measures that demonstrate excellence in care deliver- y Oversee and manage budgets, lead workforce planning, project management, change management, and other Grampians Health initiatives, collaborating with support services for successful outcomes
- . Develop and execute strategic business plans for Clinical Programs, aligned with Grampians Health’s overall objectives, focusing on quality care and improved outcomes
- . Provide values-based leadership to integrate care, champion workforce welfare, ensure quality, and support Grampians Health values. Actively contribute as a Clinical Support expert and help the team achieve strategic and operational goals
- . Strengthen governance and clinical service frameworks, continuously seeking improvements for program sustainability and effectiveness

Skills & Experience
A relevant tertiary qualification and 10 years’ experience in healthcare management, with at least 5 years in a senior level role-
Proven, senior level experience in effectively leading hospital operations, with an emphasis on developing and sustaining effective and strategic service models. Proven experience in achieving performance targets and managing budget
