About the Role
Working in a matrix model, the Manager of the Manager Business Process & Analysis Practice (MBPAP) leads the process and business analysis practice for the enterprise. The role is focused on delivering high quality BA and BP services to programs of work, enhancing process management and business analysis capabilities and delivering a new Process Management Strategy. The Manager will play a key role in driving governance, assurance, continuous improvement and optimisation initiatives that align with the strategic direction of the organisation

Duties
It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a Manager, Business Process & Analysis Practice you will:
Strategic leadership & vision
- Define the overall strategy for the process and business analysis practice, in line with enterprise strategic objectives
- Ensure initiatives contribute to the achievement of strategic objectives and defined benefits
- Champion a data-driven, process centric culture that enables informed decision making and seamless delivery
Governance, compliance and assurance oversight
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks and procedures, ensuring consistency, accountability and compliance across process and business analysis practices
- Oversee adherence to regulatory and operational risk management requirements, internal policies and industry best practices
- Ensure risks related to process failures, inefficiencies or non-compliance are proactively identified and appropriately managed
Process & business analysis insights & optimisation enablement
- Guide teams in leveraging process insights, data analytics and business analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
- Ensure business analysis frameworks support strategic planning, operational effectiveness and informed decision making
- Align process optimisation initiatives with business needs, ensuring they are backed by thorough analysis and deliver measurable value
- Support digital transformation by integrating automation, emerging technologies and data driven insights.
Stakeholder engagement and change leadership
- Operate as a role model leader for end-to-end process management and business analysis practices, nurturing a culture of operational excellence
- Engage with senior leaders and key stakeholders to drive process and business analysis excellence
- Influence senior stakeholders to prioritise and invest in business analysis and process improvement
- Ensure the effective communication and adoption of process frameworks, procedures and improvements across the organisation
Performance management and reporting
- Define and track key metrics for process efficiency, compliance and business analysis performance
- Ensure transparent reporting on process and business analysis performance to senior leadership and governance bodies
- Continuously refine analysis methodologies based on evolving business needs and insights
Team development and resource management
- Provide leadership, mentorship and professional development opportunities for the team
- Ensure the team have the right tools, skills and methodologies to execute their responsibilities effectively
- Promote a culture of innovation, continuous learning and best practices in process management and business analysis
- Work with delivery partners to ensure projects are appropriately resourced to complete process and business analysis tasks; manage the recruitment, on-boarding and off-boarding process.
Skills & Experience
- Extensive leadership and people management capability (3-5 years minimum)
- Extensive experience in business process management/process mining
- Extensive experience working in or with risk and compliance – a sound knowledge of operational risk management.
- Expert in Microsoft Office suite (including Visio, Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint, Project, and Teams).
- Expert with Lean Sigma/DMAIC.
- Experience working in the Insurance/Worker Compensation industry preferred, but not essential.
- Previous experience in a centralised process function preferred
