DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Customer Service Specialist, Air & Sea in Melbourne.
The Customer Service Specialist plays an integral part in the logistic supply chain, liaising with customers and service providers providing information and problem solving. The Customer Service Specialist reports to, assists and works cooperatively with the Senior Team Lead – Customer Service in providing outstanding customer service to internal and external customers, through the timely and accurate resolution of customer complaints and enquiries.

DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Customer Service Specialist, Air & Sea in Melbourne.
The Customer Service Specialist plays an integral part in the logistic supply chain, liaising with customers and service providers providing information and problem solving. The Customer Service Specialist reports to, assists and works cooperatively with the Senior Team Lead – Customer Service in providing outstanding customer service to internal and external customers, through the timely and accurate resolution of customer complaints and enquiries.
Your typical day at DSV:
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by delivering accurate and timely service.
- Provide information on DSV services, including rate sourcing and spot quotations via CW1.
- Manage incoming calls, including reception overflow, and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members.
- Investigate and resolve customer issues, ensuring follow-up on outstanding queries.
- Maintain and update customer details, SOPs, and client organization notes in CW1.
- Oversee Order Manager Workbench activities and generate customer-specific reports as required.
- Attend customer visits with the Commercial Team or Customer Service Manager.
- Monitor and update performance priorities, recommend process improvements, and support continuous development initiatives.
- Customer-focused with a proactive approach to resolving issues and delivering top-tier service.
- Strong problem-solving skills, consistently meeting KPIs and driving operational excellence.
- Team player who collaborates effectively to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Experience in freight forwarding within a relevant department.
- Experience using CargoWise One is preferred.
