Finance Manager - Manufacturing
Chobani Australia

- Be a key change expert working with our manufacturing teams to streamline & make a real impact!
- Flexible & hybrid working arrangements + modern Dandenong South offices
- Purpose-led organisation with a mission to ‘Make food a force for Good’
The Company
Inspired by Australia's great people and amazing foodie culture, Chobani USA purchased the Gippsland Dairy brand alongside Chobani, to form Chobani Australia in 2011. Flash forward 14 years and Chobani is Australia’s #1 yogurt brand, living in the hearts (and tummies) of fans across the country.
At Chobani it’s always been about more than yogurt. Access to delicious and nutritious food should be a right, not a privilege, Chobani’s purpose as a leading food and drink manufacturer is to use their platforms, their resources and their influence to bridge that gap, to make a difference in the fight against food insecurity.
The Opportunity
Do you love diving into numbers and finance just as much as solving efficiency challenges on the manufacturing floor?
We are looking for a collaborative Finance Manager - Manufacturing to partner our Factory teams providing business performance analysis, productivity tracking and insights, whilst strengthening our costing processes across manufacturing.
As an experienced pro in this space, you’ll thrive on leading change on the factory floor—streamlining processes, strengthening financial accountability, and teaming up to uncover cost-saving opportunities that lift the bottom line.
Day to day you’ll partner with the various production teams to ensure accurate and timely consumption, help to identify opportunities to improve site production costs and wastage and work closely together for monthly forecast updates and Budget targets. As we continue our Operational Excellence journey, you’ll be the key financial support across multiple productivity projects and be empowered to add significant value to find cost savings and productivity solutions.
Additionally, with the support of your direct report, you’ll cover the month-end process for the site, providing information to the Accounting and FP&A teams on actual cost and deviations from forecast and budget as well as productivity tracking and month-end reporting.
Skills & Experience
Ideally to be successful in the role you will have:
- Significant Finance Business Partnering experience partnering manufacturing teams in an FMCG environment
- In-depth expertise in costing, budgeting, and forecasting, with the ability to communicate complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders
- A knack for driving change, questioning the status quo, and coaching and influencing senior leaders in Operations
- Leadership experience – either leading 1-2 direct reports or mentoring/coaching indirectly
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for problem-solving and delivering fit-for-purpose improvements
- Degree qualified in Finance or Business
This is the perfect role for a seasoned costing expert who thrives in the dynamic world of consumer goods manufacturing and is passionate about driving meaningful change. You’ll be hands-on, inquisitive, and excited to dive deep into how we operate—supporting continuous improvement, enhancing cost efficiency, and making a real impact on the ground.
You’ll be rewarded by working with truly passionate people who love what they do and bring their true and authentic selves to work every day. You’ll be located at our Dandenong South head office (next to the factory), where you will have access to a 3/2 hybrid working model, free parking and unlimited free yoghurt whilst in the office!
