Your Career Progression

Upon completing the program, you will step into a full-time Sales Executive role, taking on responsibilities such as:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting – Identify and qualify new business opportunities.
  • Client Outreach & Relationship Building – Engage new and existing clients through calls, emails, and networking events.
  • Business Development – Develop strong relationships with client managers, positioning FDM as their go-to resource partner.
  • Strategic Sales Execution – Work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver IT talent solutions.
  • Achieve & Exceed Targets – Drive sales success through proactive engagement and expert solution delivery.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit entry-level IT talent for FDM’s Australian operations
  • Source candidates through a variety of channels, including LinkedIn, Seek, GradConnection, and other job platforms
  • Conduct phone interviews and coordinate in-person and virtual meetings
  • Participate in university career fairs, networking events, and other talent attraction initiatives across Australia
  • Maintain strong relationships with candidates, ensuring high engagement and securing offer acceptances for FDM’s Careers Program
  • Manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) effectively
  • Complete required reporting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis


Essential Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Passion for a career in recruitment and/or sales
  • Comfortable with cold calling candidates and potential clients
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivated attitude
  • Ability to quickly master operational systems such as Salesforce and proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Full working rights in Australia
