About the opportunity
At Mercy Health, you'll become part of a proud history built on over 100 years of expertise, skill and care. As the Technical Support Officer, you'll use your troubleshooting skills to provide comprehensive level 2 on-site technical support to end-users, ensuring timely resolution while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. This role involves investigating and resolving a wide range of technical issues related to, hardware, software, network, collaboration, and other supported digital services to help achieve even more for all who need us.
You will need to travel from one site to another for face-to-face support.
Full Clean Driving License Required.

To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Over 2 years of hands-on experience as an IT Desktop Support, Level 2 Engineer
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating system and related core productivity apps
- Office 365 management, Active Directory, Entra, MS Intune
- Familiar with hardware fundamentals and component failure troubleshooting
- Proficiency in Network concepts and troubleshooting and understanding of protocols
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles
- Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems (ServiceNow and ITIL v4 Foundation desirable)
- Knowledge of Collaboration technology
- Flexible and positive approach with excellent time management and planning skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A current Police Record Check
- Unrestricted Working Rights
- Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
