Job Description - Project Supervisor (Immediate Start)

A market leader in the Perth apartment fit-out space is seeking a Project Supervisor for an immediate start. This company partners with some of the largest construction companies in Australia and successfully completes hundreds of apartment fit-outs each year. They also work closely with boutique builders and renovation companies, delivering kitchen, bathroom, and joinery projects.

A motor vehicle will be provided as part of this role.

Job Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Manage the site and project timeframe from site measure through to final defects.
  • Work with the Internal Project Manager to ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained on site to complete works within the contracted timeframe.
  • Facilitate all site measurements and provide to Drafting for nesting purposes.
  • Act as the first point of contact on site to liaise between the Contractor, Internal Project Manager, and Installers.
  • Actively supervise and coordinate the Installers to ensure all works are being completed in a timely manner, to a high-quality standard, and in the correct priority order.
  • Liaise with the Logistics Team to ensure delivery of work orders to site, considering all site restrictions and requirements.
  • Undertake weekly QA inspections of installed joinery and keep accurate records of defects in Jobman Job Alerts.
  • Manage Installers to ensure all defects they are responsible for are closed out within the required timeframe of 72 hours.
  • Liaise with the Production Team to report all recuts and reworks and actively manage these work orders to completion.
  • Report all defects and punch list items in Jobman under Job Alerts and manage these outstanding items to completion.
  • Assist with installation of joinery when required.
  • Ensure all works undertaken on-site are completed to the highest quality with minimal defects, and that all projects are closed out within the contracted timeframe.
  • Adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety requirements of the company and the site.
