The overall scope of the Production Worker is to perform tasks associated with the installation and assembly of equipment for the Port Macquarie manufacturing business.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
- Assist in the Installation, assembly, maintenance and repair of equipment
- Carry out all functions in a manner that ensures safety to both personnel and equipment and in accordance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Accept responsibility for the day-to-day activities required and undertaken at the work site
- Co-operate with co-workers in creating smooth workflow, including assisting with each other’s work, when necessary
- Assist in testing and commissioning of equipment
- Perform assembly line duties.
- Assembling of components.
- Assisting in the development of new employees, maintaining a tidy and safe work environment.
- Any other duty as assigned by your manager from time to time
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Proficient Language, Literacy and Numeracy including the ability to write job notes, read safety information and understand basic numeracy such as time, parts numbers and quantities
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to take direction and work as a part of a busy team
- Good communication skills
- Good technical knowledge
