Your New Role
The Senior Manager Global Risk Communications is responsible for leading and implementing a global communications strategy to deliver better member outcomes through risk excellence. Playing a key role in the Leadership Communications & Colleague Connection and Organisational Resilience Teams, the role will work closely with both Risk and Colleague & Culture teams to ensure internal communications align with our target risk culture and support the Fund's 2035 Strategy.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Develop and implement a dynamic, creative and innovative global internal communications strategy which supports the successful execution and embedding of the Fund's refreshed risk framework
- Contribute to building a global risk performance culture aligned with the Fund's 2035 Strategy, driving sustainable change and building organisational resilience
- Provide active guidance and support to colleagues, the Board and Executive team on communications to promote and embed a mature risk management culture
- Partner with senior management, business units, and other stakeholders to identify challenges and opportunities for continuous improvement to uplift organisational resilience and risk culture through communications
- Support the Head of Organisational Resilience and Principal, Leadership Communications to ensure program implementation integrates with relevant organisational functions, initiatives and processes
- Support the preparation for Chief Executive, Executive, Board and other senior leaders with guidance and coaching on how to communicate with impact
- Lead the development and implementation of playbooks and toolkits for use by SLN and people leaders as well as quality fit for purpose content for internal channels to drive the outcomes of the strategy
What You'll Need
- Deep experience working in a similar in-house position or consultancy role
- Demonstrated internal communications experience within financial services and knowledge of the regulators of the sector
- Demonstrated internal risk communications experience
- Demonstrated experience in transformation and change communications
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and management skills
- Demonstrated experience working to tight deadlines and managing competing priorities with a razor-sharp focus on delivering outcomes aligned to strategy
- Experience acting as a senior leader in large, complex organisations
- Proven ability to identify and manage emerging issues and trends
- Demonstrated experience in developing compelling content for all channels
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing high performing teams
- Experience and knowledge of the Australian superannuation system is desirable
