What's the job about?

Ansarada is looking for a Systems Administrator who combines strong technical skills with a passion for helping others. You thrive on solving problems, supporting your colleagues, and enabling secure, scalable, and resilient systems.

In this role, you'll support day-to-day technology needs across the business while also driving departmental projects such as system rollouts and new tool implementations. Your curiosity and ability to grasp new technical concepts quickly will help you stay ahead of the curve and keep our systems running smoothly.

You’re proactive, personable, and skilled at identifying, diagnosing, and resolving issues before they impact others, keeping the lights on and the team empowered. Join us in a fast-paced environment where adaptation and innovation are key.

Some Of The Key Activities Of This Role Include

  • End-User IT Support & Onboarding: Provide day-to-day helpdesk support, including onboarding/offboarding, system access, device troubleshooting (Mac/Windows/MDM), and in-office walk-up support.
  • Hardware & Asset Management: Oversee procurement, configuration, distribution, and lifecycle management of hardware and mobile devices; maintain asset records and manage e-waste.
  • System & Security Monitoring: Monitor and act on alerts (CrowdStrike, Okta, cloud apps), Slack IS messages, and internal support emails to ensure system integrity and rapid issue resolution.
  • Platform & Tool Administration: Administer and manage tools like Okta (SSO, MFA), Kandji (scripts, updates, blueprints), Jira (issues, projects), and Confluence (documentation).
  • AV & Office Tech Support: Maintain and troubleshoot AV systems, Wi-Fi, and digital signage, and coordinate installations and upgrades, particularly for Sydney and global offices.
  • Procurement & Vendor Management: Handle software licensing (e.g. Adobe), hardware/software purchasing, vendor relationships, invoice processing, and internal approvals.

What we’re looking for:

  • Relevant IT experience, ideally in hands-on Helpdesk or Support roles
  • Comfortable supporting both Mac and Windows environments, with MDM tools like Jamf, Kandji, or Microsoft Endpoint Manager
  • Experience administering tools like Okta, Atlassian, O365, GSuite, and similar platforms
  • Able to provide onsite IT support in Sydney and remote support for global offices
  • Strong problem-solving mindset, with a fast-learning and self-starting approach
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively with other teams
  • Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the Internal Support roadmap
  • Support hardware procurement and configuration for new starters (laptops, phones, etc.)

Desired experience:

  • Scripting skills (e.g. Bash, Python, PowerShell) for automation are a plus
