Freight & Customer Service Manager – WA
Forrestfield, WA | Full-Time | ASAP Start
Our client is on the lookout for a strategic and experienced freight leader to oversee high-volume transport operations between WA and the Eastern Seaboard. This is a senior-level, permanent role managing the full freight and customer service function, from scheduling through to client reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end inbound and outbound freight movements
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team across freight coordination and customer service
- Maintain strong working relationships with key freight partners
- Attend and lead customer meetings, quarterly account reviews, and provide board-level reporting
- Ensure full compliance with COR, WHS, and transport regulations
- Deliver timely, high-quality reporting to state leadership, data accuracy and insights are critical
- Drive process improvements, system efficiencies, and service excellence
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven leadership experience in freight, logistics, or transport (Highly Desireable)
- 2+ in management (Requirement)
- Strong working knowledge of SAP (Requirement)
- Commercial mindset with the ability to interpret data and influence strategic outcomes
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Confident representing operations in front of customers, internal leaders, and external partners
Salary & Benefits:
- $110K–$120K + super
- Monday to Friday role with occasional weekend work
