Freight & Customer Service Manager – WA

Forrestfield, WA | Full-Time | ASAP Start


Our client is on the lookout for a strategic and experienced freight leader to oversee high-volume transport operations between WA and the Eastern Seaboard. This is a senior-level, permanent role managing the full freight and customer service function, from scheduling through to client reporting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end inbound and outbound freight movements
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team across freight coordination and customer service
  • Maintain strong working relationships with key freight partners
  • Attend and lead customer meetings, quarterly account reviews, and provide board-level reporting
  • Ensure full compliance with COR, WHS, and transport regulations
  • Deliver timely, high-quality reporting to state leadership, data accuracy and insights are critical
  • Drive process improvements, system efficiencies, and service excellence


What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven leadership experience in freight, logistics, or transport (Highly Desireable)
  • 2+ in management (Requirement)
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP (Requirement)
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to interpret data and influence strategic outcomes
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Confident representing operations in front of customers, internal leaders, and external partners


Salary & Benefits:

  • $110K–$120K + super
  • Monday to Friday role with occasional weekend work
