About The Role
The Project Subsea Engineer (OIC) will support the OIC Package Lead in the management of the J-IC Deepwater Offshore Installation Contractor (OIC) scope, including the following responsibilities:
- Assist the OIC Lead in managing contract scope, including procurement, tender reviews, sub-contracts, claims, and cost assessments (Lump Sum and reimbursable).
- Support technical interfaces and help manage risks and interfaces with internal teams and contractors.
- Help develop risk mitigation plans and provide input into contract changes.
- Provide engineering support to senior engineers for FCS, structures, pre-commissioning, and umbilicals.
- Coordinate third-party engineering contracts for design verification.
- Support Marine Warranty Surveyor with document reviews and approvals.
- Provide on-site support in Australia and overseas as required.
This role will transition to an offshore role to support the execution of the work.
Requirements
Project Management Experience -
- Experience with contract management of change system, interface and risk management systems is required.
- Experience working with a mixed structured contract (Lumpsum/Reimbursable/Time rates make up) is preferred.
- Demonstrate good interface management skills & a drive to learn, understand and share
- Civil/marine/Structural / Mechanical Engineering degree qualification preferred.
- Experience in deepwater offshore installation or construction.
