An opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Macmillan Occupational Therapist to work in Perth & Kinross Occupational Therapy Service based at the Cornhill Macmillan Centre, Perth Royal Infirmary.

You will be expected to undertake assessments of occupational performance, using standardised assessments and individual interventions as appropriate. You will work as an integrated member of the Palliative Care Services Team and will be expected to contribute to the development of this Service.

You should possess a keen interest in Palliative Care, excellent communication skills and be a positive and resourceful team member in a multi-disciplinary setting.

Perth and Kinross Occupational Therapy Service provides excellent formal and informal supervision and supports individual development and innovative practice through performance development reviews and learning plans.

The successful applicant will have the added support provided to Macmillan professionals such as CPD opportunities, information days and professional networking.

Perth and Kinross Occupational Therapy Service is committed to continued personal development through our clinical networks and a structured system of competencies/training and review is in place for support staff.
