The Role
This role involves researching, collecting, and analysing property data to support valuation teams, ensuring our systems are up to date with market information from multiple sources including media industry reports, A-REIT annual reports, presentations, and websites. The role supports the development of comprehensive market analysis, including pricing trends, rental rates, and demand-supply dynamics. You will collaborate within the team in order to deliver timely market research documents, presentations, and commentary. Strong attention to detail is required, with an ability to identify trends from data and communicate insights using data visualisation tools. Maintaining up-to-date economic knowledge and monitoring market indicators are also vital to anticipate shifts in the property market.

About You
You are either a third of fourth year student, undertaking a degree in Economics, Commerce, or Property Economics looking to start your property career.
You have a passion for data and property with superior attention to detail, excellent skills in MS Excel and Word, good knowledge and understanding about market fundamentals and drivers of economics/property markets. In addition, you can utilise data visualisation tools such as PowerBI and Tableau (or have the desire to develop these skills) to present trends and information derived from property data collection,
You also have great verbal and written communication skills and can hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment and have the confidence to take the initiative to help solve problems and achieve data-driven outcomes. You are a people person with good interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
