As a key frontline representative of the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF), the Fundraising Support Executive plays a vital role in providing high-quality service and operational support to fundraising partners, donors, and stakeholders. This role supports exceptional fundraising experiences through effective onboarding, accurate record-keeping, prompt enquiry resolution, and the ongoing maintenance of help desk materials and resources. The successful candidate will actively contribute to ASF’s mission to ensure that everyone in Australia, regardless of background, ability or culture, has access to the health and social benefits of sport.  

The Fundraising Support Executive Will Be Responsible For

Operational Support

Implement and champion excellent service levels across all interactions with fundraising partners, donors, and stakeholders 

Respond to enquiries via phone, email, and mail in a timely and professional manner. 

Manage the onboarding process for new fundraisers to ensure a smooth and supported journey. 

Conduct validation checks to confirm that grant payments to eligible fundraisers meet approval and compliance criteria. 

Maintain accurate stakeholder data and interaction histories in our CRM (Salesforce), tracking both new and existing accounts and relationships. 

Fundraiser Enablement & Customer Success 

Develop a strong understanding of the goals and needs of fundraising partners to provide tailored support. 

Ensure fundraising partners receive accurate and timely access to tools, platforms, and resources to enhance their fundraising efforts. 

Contribute to the creation and maintenance of help desk materials and knowledge base content.

Support the identification and development of service, product, policy, and platform improvements that could enhance the fundraiser experience and improve retention. 

Identify and refer high-value fundraising opportunities to the Sports Fundraising team. 

Key Skills

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across various teams and work streams.

Demonstrated experience in customer service, administration, or coordination role 

Highly organised with strong attention to detail and accurate administrative skills 

Capable of managing multiple priorities, working independently, and thriving in fast-paced environments 

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and confident in using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) 

Passion for community sport and its potential to create positive social impact (highly regarded)
