This role offers you the chance to make a real impact by shaping internal communication strategies across Australia. You will be instrumental in connecting employees, supporting leaders, and fostering a sense of community through expertly crafted messaging and engaging events. This position is perfect for someone who thrives on building relationships, enjoys variety in their workday, and values flexible working opportunities within a collaborative environment.
As an Internal Communications Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring employees feel connected, informed, and valued throughout the organisation’s operations in Australia, New Zealand, Solomon Islands, and Papua New Guinea. Your day-to-day responsibilities will see you partnering with senior leaders to shape strategic messaging that supports business objectives while also managing a busy calendar of events designed to engage staff at every level. You will have the opportunity to create compelling content for various digital channels—including intranets, newsletters, social media platforms—and oversee programmes that recognise outstanding contributions from employees. By leveraging your expertise in communication strategy development and event management, you will help cultivate a positive workplace culture where everyone feels included. Your ability to evaluate the success of these initiatives ensures continuous improvement in how information is shared internally. Additionally, your collaborative approach will see you working alongside marketing teams locally and abroad to deliver cohesive campaigns while providing essential support during times of external communication needs.
To excel as an Internal Communications Manager in this role, your background should include significant experience collaborating with cross-functional teams—particularly at senior levels—to deliver effective communication solutions. Your interpersonal skills will allow you to quickly establish rapport with colleagues from varied backgrounds while your attention to detail ensures all written materials are polished and aligned with organisational standards. Familiarity with digital tools is essential as much of your work will involve leveraging technology to reach dispersed audiences efficiently. The ideal candidate brings not only technical proficiency but also resilience; you remain calm under pressure when priorities shift unexpectedly or urgent requests arise. Your willingness to adapt methods based on feedback demonstrates your commitment to continuous improvement. Experience supporting media relations or handling sensitive external communications adds further value by enabling seamless integration between internal messaging efforts and broader public relations objectives.
This organisation stands out for its genuine commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace where every voice is heard. Employees benefit from being part of a collaborative team that values knowledge sharing and mutual support—qualities reflected in their approach to both professional development opportunities and day-to-day interactions. Flexible working arrangements are encouraged so you can achieve balance between your career ambitions and personal commitments. The company’s focus on recognising individual contributions through structured reward programmes helps nurture loyalty while regular engagement initiatives ensure everyone feels connected regardless of location. As part of this team-oriented environment operating across several countries in the South Pacific region, you’ll enjoy exposure to diverse perspectives while making meaningful contributions that shape organisational culture for years to come.
