Executive Assistant
We are seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Asia Pacific General Counsel. This role is preferably based in Canberra with hybrid working arrangements. Given the nature of this role, we are seeking candidates who are flexible to attend the office as needed for in-person support and connection.
What will your typical day look like?
The Executive Assistant (EA) is the primary contact and concierge for the Partner, overseeing administrative tasks and procedures to ensure smooth and productive operations. The EA is a key enabler for the Partner, proactively managing communication, information flow, and stakeholder engagement. In this role you will be adept in managing complex schedules and coordinating meetings across multiple time zones. By anticipating the Partner’s needs, you will allow them to focus on strategic, high-impact activities.
Your role is crucial as a connector across Asia Pacific and Global, maintaining confidentiality on any sensitive information, and ensuring all interactions align with the firm’s broader business objectives. This is more than just an administrative role—it’s an opportunity to influence, anticipate needs, and drive efficiency at the highest levels.

You may have all or some of the following skills/experiences:
- Proven experience in executive or senior-level support roles, ideally within a professional services environment
- Expertise in complex diary and inbox management, including across multiple time zones
- Previous experience in the legal sector or working with legal professionals is an advantage
- Strong communication skills—clear, concise, and professional, with the ability to draft high-level correspondence
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- A proactive mindset, anticipating needs and taking initiative to resolve issues before they arise
- Experience managing demanding and complex travel arrangements, and coordinating high-profile meetings or events
- Ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally
- A high level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information
- A strong understanding of overall business objectives and the commercial impact of the role
- A collaborative approach, mentoring and sharing best practices with colleagues
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant tools
