The Learning and Organisational Development Partner will drive a culture of continuous learning and growth, enabling our people to have the relevant skills and knowledge required to perform at their best. The role will partner across the organisation to identify professional development needs and design development solutions to build capability across the organisation.

The opportunity

As the Learning and Organisational Development Partner, you will work closely with leaders to identify learning needs and implement effective strategies, including e-learning, classroom training, microlearning, and knowledge management. You’ll conduct training needs analyses, design an annual learning calendar, and facilitate engaging learning experiences grounded in adult learning principles. Collaborating with internal experts and external providers, you’ll ensure high-quality delivery and apply robust evaluation frameworks to measure impact, drive continuous improvement, and report on learning outcomes.

In addition to learning design and delivery, you’ll support key organisational development initiatives such as culture and engagement, diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I), onboarding, and offboarding. You’ll apply project management methodologies to deliver initiatives aligned with strategic goals, supported by communication and change management plans. You’ll also review people processes and policies, contribute to OD-led projects, and build strong stakeholder relationships to embed best practice in capability development, all while championing Hostplus’ core values.

About You

To be successful in this role you will bring proven experience in designing, facilitating, and evaluating impactful learning programmes, with strong instructional design skills and familiarity with tools like Captivate or RISE 360. You’ll have a strategic mindset, solid project management capability, and strong stakeholder engagement skills. Advanced analytical ability, confident facilitation, and persuasive presentation skills are key. Tertiary qualifications in HR and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment are desirable.
