We're on an ambitious transformation journey, and we're looking for an experienced and capable IT Project Manager to join our team in Sydney on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
You'll be responsible for leading end-to-end delivery of complex IT and digital projects that drive key business objectives. Your ability to navigate ambiguity, collaborate across functions, and lead with confidence will be critical to your success.
What You'll Do
- Deliver high-impact IT projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, and execution within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Lead project planning and execution, including resource allocation, budgeting, risk mitigation, and stakeholder reporting.
- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders to define clear project objectives, business cases, and success metrics.
- Guide and mentor cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and post-implementation reviews.
- 7–10+ years' experience managing complex IT or digital transformation projects in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Demonstrated success delivering large-scale, cross-functional projects on time and within budget.
- Essential hands-on experience with workforce management platforms, including Dimensions Pro and Time and Attendance systems. This expertise is critical to supporting and optimising time-sensitive business operations.
- Strong industry experience in FMCG, Consumer Goods, or Retail – familiarity with the pace, systems, and operational models of these industries is highly sought after.
- Proven background in one or more of the following domains: Trade Promotion (TP), Pricing, Finance, or E-commerce – your subject matter knowledge will play a key role in delivering impactful, data-driven technology solutions.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT, Business, or related fields; PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile certifications highly regarded.
- Experience in FMCG, SAP, or sales/distribution systems would be advantageous
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels and influence across technical and business teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a collaborative and delivery-focused mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust to changing business needs in an agile, supportive environment.
