About the role:
This role leads the delivery of high-quality, trusted reporting solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
This role oversees a specialist team and governs the use of Power BI and Tableau, ensuring consistent standards, data integrity, and alignment with business priorities.
Acting as a strategic partner, this role drives platform adoption, supports enterprise data governance, and fosters a culture of analytics excellence.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise reporting delivery by designing and implementing dashboards, data models, and visualisations in Power BI and Tableau, ensuring alignment with business needs and best practices.
- Define and uphold reporting standards and data governance principles to ensure consistent, accurate, and trusted metrics across the organisation.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into actionable analytics solutions and support self-service reporting capabilities.
- Oversee Power BI platform governance, including access control, licensing, and performance optimisation, while driving adoption and usage insights
- Implement and operationalise data governance and quality frameworks, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and enhancing master data management.
- Foster a data-driven culture through stakeholder engagement, mentoring, and building data literacy across business units.
- Lead and develop a high-performing analytics team, promoting innovation, continuous improvement, and alignment with enterprise data strategy.
- Proficient in Power BI and Tableau for report development, data modelling, and visualisation best practices.
- Strong understanding of data governance, stewardship, and master data management principles.
- Experienced in administering reporting platforms, including workspace structure, licensing, and user access management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deliver practical, business-aligned reporting solutions.
- Proven ability to engage stakeholders, drive adoption, and uplift data capabilities across the organisation.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience mentoring teams and translating technical insights into business outcomes.
