About The Role

On the University of Queensland Electrical Maintenance Contract, UGL is the lead contractor for preventative and corrective maintenance, and project work on various UQ sites throughout QLD.

Based at UQ’s St Lucia campus, the Planner will be responsible for providing planning of the preventative maintenance activities as well as monthly reporting requirements to the client.

Key Responsibilities Will Include, But Not Be Limited To

  • Manage overall planning of work orders from creation through to completion so that a ‘single source’ of truth is maintained for all work orders
  • Monitor and report on progress on scoping and scheduling process
  • Ensure Service Orders are closed out in a timely manner
  • Work with the Program Manager and Business Support resources to optimise planning processes and systems
  • Providing leadership and participating in works management system development and other business improvement initiatives


Requirements To Be Successful

  • Significant experience using SAP (transactional and reporting)
  • Sound understanding and working knowledge of asset management, maintenance, and technical services practices
  • Proven experience in managing multiple tasks or projects simultaneously to meet deadlines
  • Proven work scheduling and planning experience in electrical maintenance works
  • Highly developed communication skills at all levels including horizontal and vertical negotiation and networking skills
