We are seeking an infrastructure architect to oversee all technology infrastructure activities across GWW, focusing on strategy, planning, investment, design, and build. The ideal candidate will maintain comprehensive plans and roadmaps for the introduction and retirement of technology within GWW, ensuring that these processes are managed in a controlled manner to optimise overall business performance. Additionally, the infrastructure architect will manage technology architect services, leveraging their expertise to maintain a deep knowledge of both current and future state architectures to drive innovation and efficiency within the organisation.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in an IT related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years hands on experience with IT Infrastructure including build and operations (Server, Network, Cloud)
- Proven track record in Infrastructure architecture, with significant hands-on experience in designing and overseeing the implementation of infrastructure technology solutions.
- Experience with architecture of SCADA IT environments to support OT environments using the Purdue model
- In-depth knowledge of emergent infrastructure technologies, with a focus on identifying opportunities for improvement in business performance through high-level design and innovative applications.
- Experience in designing robust cloud architectures using major public cloud providers such as Azure or AWS, ensuring scalability and performance for large-scale platforms
- Strong familiarity with infrastructure platforms and technologies, including VMware, Microsoft Server, Azure, Cisco, Fortinet environments, enabling the effective support and integration of complex systems and solutions.
- TOGAF certification (Desirable)
- Infrastructure/Cloud certifications (Desirable)
