Procurement Lead – Social Procurement Focus

About The Role
- Based at our Melbourne Collins Street HQ office 2 days per week, with 1 day per week required at varies depot locations
- A current valid driver’s licence is essential
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement practices
- Lead end-to-end sourcing activities including RFPs, RFTs and RFQs
- Draft, review and negotiate supplier contracts aligned to Australian Standards
- Consolidate and manage supplier arrangements, ensuring compliance and value-add
- Develop and implement a social procurement strategy across the business
- Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Present business cases and recommendations to senior leadership
- Provide procurement education and support across business units
- Conduct market research, benchmarking, and procurement analysis
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a procurement or purchasing role
- Experience with social procurement organisations such as Social Traders, Kinaway or Supply Nation
- Strong ability to influence and communicate with executive stakeholders
- Confident presenter who can articulate the value and impact of procurement initiatives
- Self-starter who works well independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Tertiary qualifications in business, supply chain or a related field (preferred)
- Experience in facilities management or service-based procurement
- Exposure to Indigenous engagement or work within socially-focused environments
