You will work closely with Product, Delivery and Engineering teams to deliver market leading experiences that support the ubank brand positioning. This is done by ensuring that lending origination and core banking systems and processes are of high quality, fit for purpose and performing as expected.

Key Responsibilities

    • Document and evaluate processes and functionality (as is and to be) across both ubank internal and third-party vendor systems, including completion of system impact assessments for proposed changes.
    • Develop and maintain quality assurance plans for systems and processes, ensuring appropriate coverage of business processes, operations and systems functionality.
    • Conduct verification and/or validation testing across ubank internal systems and integrations with third party vendor systems, ensuring that all system changes are high quality, secure and fit for purpose. Help to solve defects identified through verification testing by driving root cause analysis.
    • Identify and develop improvements for system verification testing, including testing processes, practices and standards.
    • Develop, review and validate technical and operational requirements for changes proposed to ubank systems, including integrations with third party vendors.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop test scenarios, driving reductions in testing effort, and improvements in code quality and delivery velocity.
    • Operate as a subject-matter expert in lending origination/core banking systems and processes, supporting cross-functional teams to deliver faster, cheaper, better.
    • Act as an internal advocate for in-built system and process quality.
    • Collaborate with third party vendors to develop high value digital capabilities for lending origination and core banking product teams.
    • Help to ensure that delivery across internal and third-party engineering teams aligns with the ubank delivery framework, including ensuring that third party vendor obligations are consistently met.
    • Collaborate with internal and third-party vendor teams to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of implementations for system changes.

As a Senior QA Analyst, You Will Have

    • 5+ years’ experience in technical quality assurance, testing and systems analysis.
    • Experience with a variety of testing processes and methodologies, including manual and automated testing.
    • Experience in retail financial services products, with experience in lending origination, core banking and/or payments systems highly desirable.
    • Experience in leading and working across internal and third-party vendor teams.
    • Proven track record in collaborating across product, engineering and delivery teams
    • Industry accreditations in agile delivery, system testing and/or process mapping.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
