The Opportunity

As the demand for HenderCare services has increased in the community, we are looking for dedicated support workers to join our team to provide support to our cilents in their homes inAdelaide (North, Central, West and South regions).

In this casual role, you will work a mixture of day, afternoon, and night shifts throughout the week to ensure our clients are provided with 24/7 care.

About The Role

As a casual team member, you'll provide a range of essential services to support our clients in their daily lives, including:

  • Personal care such as showering, grooming, and dressing
  • Assistance with person transfers and mobility
  • Meal preparation
  • Light household duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Respite care and social support to enhance wellbeing

About You

Previous experience in providing personal care and domestic services to people with a disability or within aged care sector is essential to be successful in this role.

You Must Also Hold

  • Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support, Disability or equivalent
  • Current Provide First Aid Certificate HLTAID011 (previously HLTAID003)
  • Current Provide CPR Certificate HLTAID009 (previously HLTAID001)
  • Current Manual Handling Certificate
  • Current National Police Check
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current NDIS Workers Check
  • Full Drivers License and access to your own car
