About The Role

We’re recruiting an experienced HME Maintenance Planner to support a large ancillary mobile fleet at a mining site. This is a FIFO role from Perth on an 8/6 roster (Wednesday to Wednesday), managing the weekly planning cycle for a fleet of approximately 65 dozers, graders, loaders and floats, all on hour-based servicing.

This is a high-skill planning role — ideal for someone with deep exposure to weekly HME planning, excellent SAP capability, and the confidence to run planning meetings and build manual Gantts in MS Project. The assignment is initially 3 months with the possibility of extension.

What’s in it for you: Why you’ll love this job…

  • Impact & Ownership: You’ll manage planning for one of the largest ancillary HME fleets in the Pilbara — and your weekly plan is what gets executed.
  • Great Rewards: $95–$100/hr + super, paid weekly.
  • Team & Culture: Work in a fast-paced mine site environment with clear deliverables and structured support.
  • Stability with Growth: 3-month contract with potential for extension based on performance and site needs.
  • Work-Life Balance: FIFO 8/6 roster from Perth. No late fly-outs — get in on Wednesday, home the next.

What you’ll do: Key responsibilities…

  • Weekly planning for approx. 65 ancillary HME assets (dozers, graders, loaders, floats)
  • Maintain SAP plans, counters, and capacity settings
  • Build and maintain manual Gantt charts in MS Project
  • Manage backlog, plan ahead, and lock in work scopes
  • Lead weekly planning review and schedule confirmation meetings
  • Ensure labour, parts, and contractor availability are aligned
  • Communicate daily with maintenance supervisors, planners and support teams

What we’re looking for: About you…

  • Proven experience in weekly HME planning – recent and site-based
  • Strong SAP PM skills – plan/counter resets, capacity control, schedule builds
  • Proficient in MS Project – manual Gantt charting (no automated integration)
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills
  • Capable of running and chairing formal planning meetings
  • Must have the right to work in Australia
