Construction Manager

Career growth within the McNab Group has opened up a role for an experienced and strategic Construction Manager to lead one of our commercial project delivery teams. In this pivotal role, you will oversee multiple projects, mentor and empower a team of Project Managers, and play a key role in maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and suppliers. Your primary focus will be to ensure exceptional outcomes through your project teams when it comes to planning and delivery, ensuring your area meets the McNab standards of safety, quality, leadership and client satisfaction.

This role also offers the opportunity to contribute to business development and operational growth by working closely with our pre-contracts team to identify and support new project opportunities. A solid understanding of project financials and industrial relations will be highly regarded.

About You

• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred).
• Previous experience in a similar role working for a commercial builder, including leadership of project teams.
• Proven track record of managing the full lifecycle of complex construction projects, from planning to completion.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing project budgets and commercial risk.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills – people gravitate to you in the industry.
• High-level understanding of WHS, quality assurance, and compliance requirements.
