Primary Objective: The Youth Voice and Leadership Advisor will facilitate a key initiative to ensure the diverse voices and experiences of Northern Territory students and young people are captured and used to shape departmental policy and practices. Including the development of governance, policy and approach to guide the use of a Youth Voice Peak group, the position will establish strong partnership and collaboration points with key stakeholders to amplify communication of its purpose across the system. A Champion of Student Voice, the position will develop a practice guide that uses an evidence-based approach to support student voice and leadership practices at school, region and system level.
