Product Director - Student Management System

Are you passionate about driving product success and customer advocacy? As a Product Success Director for our Student Management System, you will lead the team responsible for shaping the future of our product by leveraging customer insights, market research, and collaboration across TechnologyOne teams. Your goal is to deliver a Maximum Lovable Product (MxP) while ensuring seamless adoption and advocacy from our customers.
Guided by the Product Strategy, you will own and drive the Product Roadmap, ensuring high-quality deliverables that align with customer expectations and enterprise design. You will also champion your team and product strategy, actively promoting its vision both internally and externally, helping to transform the way educational institutions manage and support their students.
Our Student Management solution enables our customers to deliver an exceptional student experience across the entire student journey from Admission to Graduation. It ensures our customers meet their statutory and regulatory compliance needs while supporting all financial requirements for student and institutional funding in both Australia and the UK.
What you'll be doing…
- Develop and maintain a Customer Engagement Plan to drive product enhancement, foster collaboration, and improve NPS and customer reference ability.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build a transparent and researched Product Roadmap.
- Maintain a prioritised Product Backlog based on feedback and business needs.
- Align product delivery with business goals alongside R&D and Development teams.
- Ensure successful delivery within quality frameworks and drive adoption.
- Oversee the Product Prove Program for customer-tested features.
- Contribute to an engaged Employee and Customer Community.
- Deliver key initiatives such as achievement plans, skills assessments, and eNPS action plans.
- Lead a high-performing team aligned with company culture.
- Optimize resource allocation while fostering a "Can Do" culture.
- Empower team members' career development and progression.
- Drive continuous improvement by challenging processes, optimizing systems, and ensuring compliance.
- Contribute to relevant forums such as the Employee Community and Product Success Director Forum.
Your Talents…
- Deep knowledge of product legislative and compliance requirements, as well as its features and functions
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Proven ability to present to diverse audiences and influence successful outcomes
- Strong commercial acumen, balancing competing priorities across cross-functional teams
- Experience in leading, developing, and coaching team members
- Understanding of Student Management solutions either Technology One products or other student systems a distinct advantage.
