Finance Analyst
This is a 3–6 month contract (possible extension). You will be working with one of our banking clients to shape the End-of-Year Annual Report, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a compelling presentation of financial performance. Sitting within the finance reporting function, the Finance Reporting Analyst will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to validate financial data, structure report content, and develop high-quality visuals that effectively communicate key insights.

Sitting within the finance reporting function, the Finance Reporting Analyst will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to validate financial data, structure report content, and develop high-quality visuals that effectively communicate key insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure financial statements and performance metrics align with regulatory requirements and internal standards. Conduct thorough data checks and reconciliations to uphold the integrity of reported figures.
- Organize complex financial information into a coherent, structured format, ensuring clarity and logical flow. Tailor reporting to meet stakeholder expectations while maintaining alignment with corporate branding and regulatory disclosures.
- Liaise with finance, risk, compliance, and investor relations teams to gather insights and incorporate their input into the final report. Proactively manage stakeholder expectations and deadlines.
- Leverage advanced PowerPoint skills to create high-impact visual presentations, helping senior leaders and external audiences better understand financial trends and company performance.
- Adhere to financial reporting standards, such as IFRS or GAAP, and ensure disclosures meet industry-specific regulatory requirements. Support audit-related inquiries if needed.
- Strong attention to detail & deadline management: Ability to manage multiple reporting components while ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Data extraction & financial reporting experience: Familiarity with financial reporting tools and platforms; experience working with large datasets and extracting meaningful insights.
- Advanced PowerPoint & visualization skills: Expertise in transforming financial data into impactful visuals for board presentations, investor communications, or annual reports.
- Strong communication & influencing skills: Confidence in liaising with senior stakeholders, explaining financial concepts, and driving engagement.
- Annual/external reporting experience (highly regarded): Understanding of financial disclosure requirements and best practices in corporate reporting within financial services
