DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Freight Forwarder, Export in Perth.
The position is responsible for arranging and directing the transportation and shipment of export consignments from origin to destination by compiling, completing and verifying required documents in accordance with company policy and procedure and external body regulations.

DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Freight Forwarder, Export in Perth.
The position is responsible for arranging and directing the transportation and shipment of export consignments from origin to destination by compiling, completing and verifying required documents in accordance with company policy and procedure and external body regulations.
Your typical day at DSV:
- Process export consignments in line with customer expectations and KPIs.
- Collaborate with the Export team to ensure high-quality, accurate service delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and service providers both locally and overseas.
- Troubleshoot export issues with stakeholders such as airlines, shipping lines, transport providers, and co-loaders.
- Accurately enter shipment data into CW1 in a timely manner.
- Plan and prioritize shipments using the Export Workbench to meet key milestones and deadlines.
- Calculate costs, GST, weights, and load dimensions for efficient space and cost management.
- Support the Senior Team Lead and Manager with daily operations and assigned projects.
- Tech-savvy, utilizing modern logistics software for tracking shipments, automating documentation, and keeping clients informed.
- Strong communicator, offering excellent customer service, proactive problem- solving, and responsive support to ensure smooth operations.
- Proven experience in export logistics, with in-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and industry-specific shipping requirements.
- Cargowise One knowledge and experience.
