- 4+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field, or a Bachelor's degree and experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field - Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence - Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis - Attention to detail, takes ownership of your work to deliver results, strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skills
APAC Operations Finance team partners various departments across Australia and Singapore. We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A to join our team based out of Melbourne, Australia. In this role you will be expected to be the single source of truth for all financial information with a focus on weekly/monthly reporting, analyze and deliver insights, automate processes and build trust with team members. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, is analytical, detail oriented and will possess the ability to work well with cross-functional teams. Key job responsibilities 1. Drive weekly, monthly and quarterly mechanisms to support delivery of business goals 2. Partner with Finance POCs during planning and reporting cycles 3. Gatekeeper for integrity and accuracy of Amazon’s data across various financial databases 4. Automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes

- Knowledge of Tableau
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
