As our new HR Business Partner, you'll be the trusted advisor and strategic support for a portfolio of centres, working alongside passionate leaders to foster a high-performing, values-aligned culture.
About the Role:
As a key member of our People & Culture team, you’ll be the go-to expert for all things HR within your region. You'll partner closely with Centre Performance Managers and Centre Managers to deliver both strategic and operational HR solutions, with a strong focus on employee relations, coaching, workforce planning, and compliance.
This is a hands-on role with a strong coaching focus — ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about making a difference.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day HR advice, coaching, and support across your region.
Guide leaders through performance, conduct, and engagement matters.
Lead employee relations and industrial relations processes, including investigations and documentation.
Partner with HR Coordinators and other departments to ensure seamless HR operations and project delivery.
Support workforce planning, organisational change, and proactive risk management.
Use HR data to inform decision-making and identify trends and opportunities.
Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation and internal policies.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Proven generalist HR experience in Childcare, Aged Care and Retail sectors
Strong understanding of Fair Work legislation and modern award interpretation.
Ability to build trusting relationships and influence across all levels of the organisation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information confidentially.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Tech savvy – confident using Microsoft Office suite and HRIS platforms
Qualifications in Human Resources and Business Administration,– Highly desirable
Experience with platforms like Monday.com or JotForm- Highly desirable
