Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Information Management Lead, this role is responsible for the day-to-day administration of ELO and oversight of physical records. The Information Officer plays a key role in maintaining the integrity, accessibility, and accuracy of information across the organisation, using best practices and technical expertise to promote and enhance the use of ELO among teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Information Management Lead, this role is responsible for the day-to-day administration of ELO and oversight of physical records. The Information Officer plays a key role in maintaining the integrity, accessibility, and accuracy of information across the organisation, using best practices and technical expertise to promote and enhance the use of ELO among teams and stakeholders.
Your key responsibilities will include, however, are not limited to:
- Oversee the day-to-day administration of ELO, including user access, document control, folder structure maintenance, and register updates.
- Support the organisation, storage, and retrieval of physical records to ensure efficient access and compliance.
- Work collaboratively across departments to promote effective use of ELO through training, education, and ongoing support.
- Conduct quality control and audit checks on controlled documents and daily information management activities to ensure accuracy and adherence to best practices.
- Continuously review and refine information management and document control processes, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and improvement.
- Support the management of information within the SharePoint environment, ensuring alignment with organisational policies and compliance standards.
- reconciliations on controlled documents and resolve discrepancies.
As a suitable candidate for this position, you will hold prior relevant and recent experience as a Information Officer.
In Addition, You Will Also Have
- Proven experience working with Electronic Document and Records Management Systems (EDRMS).
- Strong background in managing internal document control processes and procedures.
- Sound understanding and practical application of information management regulations and legislation, including compliance with National Archives of Australia (NAA) guidelines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across all levels of the organisation.
- Experience in managing physical records is advantageous.
