Key Responsibilities

  • Engaging effectively with technology and enablement stakeholders across the business to drive the delivery of business outcomes. Stakeholders include executives, business, technology, operations, risk, other business divisions and 3rd party suppliers.
  • Lead delivery squads and other stakeholder sets through the delivery lifecycle by creating structure to complex challenges through the delivery framework and a pragmatic customer-focused mindset. Facilitating workshops & other collaborative meetings/forums across squads and domains, bringing the right people together at the right time for the best outcome and removing any impediments for value delivery.
  • Oversee governance and due diligence of initiatives to ensure we are meeting quality, technology, risk or industry obligations and ensure releases delivery quality on time, safely and sustainably.
  • Communicating the context, strategic intent as well as the immediate actions for any initiative or challenge.
  • Manage and support stakeholders with relevant and clear information to enable the best decision-making based on the driving value and alignment to prioritised business/customer outcomes.
  • Supporting delivery teams through ambiguity and adapting to rapid change.
  • Proactively encourage ongoing continuous improvement in how we deliver (including our delivery and decision-making ways of work).
  • Build and maintaining delivery team metrics that underline purpose fit practices and inform areas of improvement. Wear the coaches’ hat as required to demonstrate ways of working, propagate alternative approaches and promote greater collaboration.

Essential

Your Experience:

  • Experience in retail financial services products, particularly technology domain
  • Qualification in Business, Commerce or Technology
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Proven track record in excellent stakeholder management and influencing (laterally and vertically)
  • Strong experience leading both agile and enterprise delivery, including industry relevant industry accreditation
  • Strong technical experience covering information security and cybersecurity
  • Strong understanding of security technologies, controls, and policies.
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks (for example, within the PCI DSS, CPS 234, CPG 235 or CPS 230 areas)
  • Working with / managing Third Parties

Desirable

  • Experience in working in a scaled agile delivery environment
