Responsibilities: As a Manufacturing Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for leading and planning manufacturing engineering programs. You will lead teams of engineers who define processes to fabricate, assemble, inspect, and test new products and machines based on production engineering and design principles. Additionally, you will define the supporting tools and fixtures needed for production, ensuring that teams are developing product specifications and defining the quality standards and inspection methods for manufacturing products and machines. You are expected to be a subject matter expert with deep knowledge and experience, possess influencing and advisory skills, and be responsible for team decisions. You will engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions while providing solutions to problems that apply across various teams. Expert proficiency in Engineering System Design is required. Expert proficiency in Estimation and Planning, Lean Manufacturing, Manufacturing Operations, Test Automation, and Fault Analysis is suggested. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement. Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance product quality. Mentor and guide team members to achieve their professional development goals. Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
System Design and Upgrades: Lead and execute PLC and SCADA upgrades, including designing and implementing new systems to enhance operational efficiency.
Automation and Instrumentation: Utilize your practical site experience to manage and troubleshoot automation and instrumentation systems. Ensure systems are operating at optimal levels.
Commissioning and Fault Diagnosis: Oversee the commissioning of new systems and conduct fault diagnosis to swiftly resolve any issues, minimizing downtime and operational disruption.
Documentation: Produce high-quality technical documentation, including system design specifications, operational procedures, and maintenance manuals.
Mentorship: Act as a mentor to junior engineers, providing guidance and support to foster their professional development.
Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met. Utilize strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate technical concepts.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure all systems comply with functional safety standards and contribute to safety audits and assessments. TUV Certification is highly regarded.
Client & Project: We are seeking a new talent to join the Engineering & Networks team where you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a client engaged in the exploration, production, and processing of natural resources, including minerals and energy products.
Design and implement process control strategies for modifications and expansions.
Plan and execute specifications and architecture for control systems.
Conduct system simulations and facilitate operator training sessions.
Promote adherence to engineering review processes and established standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance project outcomes.
HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant related skills.
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field of studies.
