Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst to support the implementation of a Broking Platform in Australia. This is a 9-month fixed-term contract role, reporting to the Head of Project Management Office. The successful candidate will play a key role in bridging business needs and technical execution, ensuring the successful delivery of key components of the project. This is a hybrid role combining core Business Analyst duties with selected Project Management responsibilities.

The Role

  • Define and manage activities within the agreed scope of the project
  • Lead system configuration activities in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
  • Conduct in-depth policy analysis for in-scope business areas
  • Perform template gap analysis and validation to ensure system alignment
  • Drive the delivery of new platform features, including analysis, testing, and deployment
  • Support change management and communications throughout the project lifecycle
  • Assist with business readiness planning and Go-Live support activities

Qualifications

The Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Business Analyst in a system implementation or platform migration project
  • Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with data analysis using Excel
  • Familiarity with reading and interpreting Power BI reports
  • Ability to take on project management tasks when required
  • Understanding of the insurance industry is a plus; ability to learn quickly and pick up domain knowledge is essential
  • Experience supporting change and business readiness initiatives
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities
