We're looking for a motivated and organised Junior Project Manager to join our team i n transformation . This role is ideal for someone starting their project management career who is eager to learn and contribute to significant initiatives.
As a Junior Project Manager, you'll gain practical experience supporting the delivery of projects that are crucial to our business and directly impact our members. You'll work closely with experienced project managers and various departments, learning the ropes of project lifecycle management in a dynamic environment.
We utilise both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, providing you with exposure to different project delivery approaches. If you're a proactive individual with strong organisational skills and a desire to build a career in project management within financial services, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will support our project delivery efforts by
- Assisting in stakeholder communication and relationship management across various levels within the RACQ Group.
- Supporting project leads in managing project timelines, tasks, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives .
- Contributing to data collection and reporting to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Collaborating with Change Managers to ensure seamless transitions and readiness for new initiatives.
- Learning to identify and document potential project risks, contributing to mitigation strategies.
- Aiding in the preparation of project documentation and presentations.
- Supporting project teams to maintain consistency and adherence to project standards.
- Assisting in the identification and resolution of project challenges through practical problem-solving.

Your profile will ideally include
- An understanding of project management fundamentals, including planning, scheduling, and tracking.
- A keen interest in developing expertise in governance, budgeting, and risk management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate information clearly.
- Demonstrated problem-solving aptitude.
- Prior experience or a strong interest in the financial services sector or other regulated industries.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A collaborative approach and a willingness to contribute positively to a team environment.
