What will your typical day look like?

Our teams are centred around transforming businesses in areas such as value chain, digital twins, asset management, strategy, and innovation. We aim to support the energy transition of the planet, our local economy, and our people. You will:

  • Build your skills and capabilities: Depending on your passion we have training courses for you from consulting strategy and operations to Smart Manufacturing, AI and Machine Learning. Network, network, network! Work with a high-performing team with a strong commitment to helping our clients develop more resilient business models and build the capability to be more successful.
  • Contribute to program delivery and pursuits: Contribute to proposals and pursuit documents and enable effective delivery of projects with a focus on outcomes and impact.
  • Work on some of the most difficult projects in Australia: Undertake operations, transformation-focused projects, and work with government and businesses to develop their strategic capability.

This team is a key part of our I&I practice, which is dedicated to helping businesses, governments, and communities across the globe address their most pressing supply chain challenges. Our team is grounded in a technology-first approach, leveraging our proprietary platform to provide end-to-end supply chain visibility, identify risks and opportunities, and offer actionable strategies for our clients. This is an exciting, growing, and highly visible area within Deloitte, bringing together top-tier consulting expertise with advanced digital and data capabilities to drive tangible outcomes.

  • Australian citizenship with the ability to obtain an AGSVA baseline clearance
  • Preferred degrees include:
    • Commerce, STEM, Business, International Relations, Government, Policy, Engineering degree with an interest in IT/software aspect. IT/Comp Science/Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aeronautical, Software Eng). Engineering students who have an interest in IT, or IT students who have an interest in engineering.
Specific experience in one or more of the following areas is desirable but not necessary :

  • Consulting experience in a consulting firm, boutique strategy house, engineering advisory firm and / or an internal consulting/business improvement role
  • Operations improvement, transformation or implementation/delivery background in Defence, automotive, energy, and resources or similar sectors
  • Experience in the use of structured consulting approaches/frameworks
  • An understanding of supply chains, logistics and/or procurement
  • An understanding of Microsoft 365 technologies (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Experience using digital technologies (such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL) to derive insights and optimise business outcomes
  • STEM related qualifications and experience
  • Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) skillsets which may include due diligence, problem solving, media analysis, foreign language aptitude
