The Opportunity
Are you a data-driven professional passionate about streamlining reporting and analytics?
CSR is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to drive standardisation, support business units, and enhance decision-making through efficient, centralised reporting based in North Ryde.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for business users on reporting and analytics queries.
- Assess new reporting requests, develop proof-of-concept reports, and contribute to CSR-wide reporting improvements.
- Utilise knowledge of reporting platforms and data flows to refine business requirements.
- Translate business needs into structured report specifications and advocate for reporting standardisation.
- Train business users in self-service reporting and optimise reporting workflows.
- Evaluate existing reports, ensuring alignment with CSR standards, decommissioning redundant reporting where necessary.
- Reduce manually created reports across business units, driving efficiency and consistency.
- Collaborate with the Business Analytics Manager and team to refine centralised reporting solutions.
- Expertise in Data Science and Analytics
- Strong understanding of finance and non-financial reporting
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure Analytics Platform and Power BI
- Proficient in SAP BW and SAP ECC systems
- Manufacturing industry background with hands-on operational insight
- Proven ability to translate complex operational requests into intuitive, efficient user solutions
- Strong planning, prioritisation, and project/change management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, bridging technical and business needs
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder collaboration and relationship management
