As our Operational Communications Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive clear, compliant, and engaging information throughout their journey with us.

Professional Experience: Skilled ( >3 experience <15 years)
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree

The Role
We're leading the energy transition to build a carbon-neutral future. We need passionate professionals who can help us communicate effectively with our customers while meeting regulatory requirements.
As our Operational Communications Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive clear, compliant, and engaging information throughout their journey with us.
- Develop and implement operational communications across the entire customer lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure all customer communications meet regulatory obligations and customer expectations.
- Work closely with Marketing and Customer Service departments to enhance clarity and engagement in customer messaging.
- Review and approve communication materials before distribution to customers.
- Develop and maintain communication templates that balance regulatory requirements with customer-friendly language.
- Monitor and analyse customer feedback to continuously improve communication effectiveness.
- Lead projects to streamline and standardise operational communications across different business units.
- Stay current with regulatory changes that impact customer communications.
- Implement best practices for clear communications in the energy sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Marketing, or related field
- Experienced professional in communications, preferably in a regulated industry
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in the energy sector
- Excellent writing and editing skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to translate complex regulatory language into clear customer communications
- Experience collaborating with legal and compliance teams
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of customer journey mapping and touchpoint optimization
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to improve communication effectiveness
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work across multiple departments
- Based at our Southbank office in Melbourne
- Hybrid working arrangement with flexibility between office and remote work
- Regular presence at our ENGIE office is required for cross-functional collaboration
