The UGL Utilities team designs, constructs and maintains critical infrastructure across the water and power sectors. Ranging from wastewater treatment plants to power stations. We design and construct the following assets; power generation, transmission lines, substations, electrical distribution networks, water and waste water treatment plans and water pipelines.

The Opportunity
UGL Utilities team are currently looking for an experienced Project Controls Engineer to join the team in Perth.

The Opportunity
UGL Utilities team are currently looking for an experienced Project Controls Engineer to join the team in Perth.
Some Key Responsibilities Of This Role Will Include
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project as well as ensuring alignment between the schedule, project scope and key milestones.
- Monitor and control project budgets, prepare cost forecasts, track expenditures and identify cost variances.
- Implement EVM techniques to track project performance and provide regular updates on project progress and performance metrics to stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies, as well as manage and document changes in scope, budget, and schedule, ensuring proper approvals are obtained.
- Prepare and deliver accurate and timely project reports, including progress, risks and financials.
- Facilitate effective communication between project teams, stakeholders, and management.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, relevant certifications (PMI-SP, AACE CCP) are highly desired.
- Proven proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Earned Value Management.
- Proven track record in large-scale construction, infrastructure, or utilities projects.
- Strong data analysis, risk assessment, and cost control skills.
- Excellent communication, organisational and multi-tasking abilities.
