Description
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Delivering budgeted annual revenue and margin targets
- Build a long term strategic commercial plan to build sustainable growth
- Securing new commercial partnerships in priority categories where we do not have a partner or creating multiple options in the lead up to renewal periods
- Work collaboratively with our clients, team and Managing Director in the proposal development and negotiation phase, to ensure all proposed benefits can be delivered and are in-line with our strategy
- Proactively manage and service the commercial partners to ensure delivery of objectives
- Build long standing, mutually beneficial partnerships
- Develop strategic plans for each commercial partner that sets out vision priorities and action plans with owners and dates
- Work across the Performance54 ecosystem including all internal departments, our partners, media, and key stakeholders to support the commercial partnership priorities
- Proactively identify opportunities and report regularly to the team
- Deliver activations and any other add ons as negotiated
- Provide best practice approach for commercial partnerships which may extend globally
- Contribute to any other responsibilities as required
- REQUIRED SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
- Proven experience and success in a commercial environment
- Proven success at building excellent working relationships
- Commercial experience and understanding of the sporting industry
- Demonstrated negotiation and dispute resolution skills
- Experience in the collaborative development of complex planning documents involving risk and business continuity.
- Commitment to the principles and practices of ethical conduct, quality management and risk management.
- Strong financial literacy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Great attention to detail

ROLE OVERVIEW:
Reporting to the Commercial Director Australia, the Commercial Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management and generation of income and activity through commercial activity, including but not limited to sponsorship, partnerships and hospitality. Specific functional responsibilities include prioritizing commercial partnerships, specifically meeting revenue targets through a combination of account servicing and securing new partners The Commercial Manager must boast commercial experience and an understanding of the professional sporting ecosystem, its stakeholders, rightsholders and suppliers. They must boast strong personal motivation, and be comfortable working remotely and unsupervised, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A keen eye for detail and ability to work to tight deadlines with excellent communication skills Tasked with delivering core commercial aspects, and supported by Senior 54 Management, the Commercial Manager must be comfortable managing a variety of relationships with key stakeholders to successfully deliver our current contracts, and other consultative work as required

SALARY AND BENEFITS:
- Competitive Salary
- Annual Discretionary Company Bonus – up to 8% - 3% Company & 5% Individual
- You will accrue up to four (4) weeks of annual leave each year in accordance with the Fair Work Act (pro rata for part time employees)
- Working hours will be from 09.00 to 17.30 with an hour taken for lunch usually between 12.00 and 14.00 (Working hours will vary depending on the client and relevant time zones)
- Interstate travel will be required for this role
