There is a 60/40 hybrid arrangement in place with staff at Endeavour College, which means full-time permanent staff can work from a flexible location, such as home, 1-2 days a week (a maximum of 40% of their contracted hours), with authorisation from their Head of Department. Staff are also required to complete a workplace safety checklist and provide this to their manager.

Flexible Working Location (FWL) arrangements carries the same obligations that you would undertake on campus.

Note that different requirements of the role will often mean that you will be working 4 or 5 days on campus at certain times of the year. Days of the week are set with your manager at the start of each teaching period.

About the Role

  • Permanent, Full Time Position

Work as a Lecturer within the Academic department of Chinese Medicine, providing high quality teaching and education in line with the standards Endeavour College of Natural Health. Motivate, support and engage Chinese Medicine Students

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, and other deliveries of course contents to students of Chinese Medicine courses.
  • Act as a subject administrator, ensuring the quality, relevance and consistency of course content.
  • Support the review process of subject content, materials and assessments through feedback, academic literature, and results analysis.
  • Create an positive environment, conducive to student-centered learning.
  • Provide regular, timely feedback to student produced work, ensuring their progress towards learning outcomes.
  • Maintain contemporary knowledge of academic, professional and industrial developments.
  • Work strategically to enhance student experience and engagement, through consultation, feedback and consistent communication.

About You

  • Post Graduate qualification in a Chinese Medicine related field.
  • 3 years of experience working in industry within Chinese Medicine.
  • Qualification in Education is highly desirable.
  • Experience working within tertiary education, including subject delivery and teaching groups of students.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
