About the Role
The role is responsible for helping impacted employees find suitable roles within the wider NSW Government sector by driving the process management, education, advice and being the primacy point of contact for employees and leaders. Also, provide high quality, accurate human resources advice and service delivery to employees and leaders. Support the implementation of HR strategy and deliverables in functions and teams. Support the planning, monitoring and delivery of employee lifecycle activities.

Duties
It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a P&C Consultant and WMP Case Manager you will:
- Drive the WMP program end-to-end; this includes but is not limited to managing and supporting impacted employees in the program, administrating and governing the WMP program, educating and supporting impacted employees and leaders
- Act as a conduit between icare, talent acquisition and the Premier’s department and take accountability for owning and driving the outcome of actions that arise.
- Actively communicate and keep relevant parties informed about the placement process and provide coaching and support as required.
- Provide support to the Head of P&C on P&C initiatives and project delivery, such a talent management, reporting and data analysis, executive recruitment and op model change management.
- Supports preparation and delivery of cyclical P&C activities including talent, performance and remuneration cycles and applies a continuous improvement mindset to simplify, improve value and experience.
- Build the employee experience through innovative service delivery and resolve problems by working collaboratively across the team, enhancing the P&C brand across icare.
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary level qualifications at degree level or higher in HR, business, psychology or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience as a People & Culture generalist able to advise on complex P&C matters.
- Broad experience in a People and Culture role, including knowledge of contemporary P&C best practice.
- Well-developed oral and written communication and negotiation skills, with strong customer service, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Able to listen to business problems and apply data driven decision making, thought leadership, broad and conceptual thinking in highly specialised work
