About the role Join the Solo by MYOB team as an Engineering Manager, where you’ll lead delivery teams to create impactful solutions for small business owners and the self-employed. You’ll provide mentorship and support to align technology, delivery, and product outcomes with MYOB's customer-focused mission.
Collaborating with leaders, you'll drive the engineering strategy, shaping product and technology roadmaps that enable the continued evolution of Solo. By establishing sustainable systems of work, you’ll empower teams to thrive as they build and operate software with integrity and excellence
Using your technical expertise, you’ll inspire innovation, incremental delivery, and continuous improvement, all while ensuring security and compliance remain at the forefront of our operations

The skills you'll need
- Proven experience with sophisticated system architectures.
- Expertise in implementing continuous delivery, agile, and lean practices.
- A track record of improving the Product Development lifecycle to align with business outcomes.
- Hands-on experience with Cloud infrastructure like AWS or Azure.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture, React Native, GraphQL and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with domain-driven design principles.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
